The Israeli Holocaust Museum YAD VASHEM is publishing a short documentary on the Jews in Lithuania. Once, Vilna played an extremely important role in Jewish history. Most people identify the toen with the Vilna Gaon who once fought the new chassidic movement. However, many Jews don't know that also quite a few Chassidim used to live in Vilna.
Today, only photos remain from the great Jewish history of Lithuania.
