Haredi Guy watching Pornography

B"H

I need a very quick response from someone:

I am sitting here at this Internet Cafe in Tel Aviv because my wireless crashed. Almost next to me is a haredi guy, litvish and in his forties, sitting and watching pornography. Looking at pictures and things.

What should I do ? Should I do anything at all ?
Maybe scream "pervert" or "pig" ?
Or start saying the SHEMA in the middle of the Internet Cafe ?

What would you do ????

Why should I calm down ?

Tell the guy next to me to calm down, as he is surely much more excited than I am.:-)

Or are you the guy ???

There are no stones here to throw and no garbage to burn. :-(

The guy moved over watching real movies now. Girls at the beach ...

Maybe I should call the modesty police !

His chair is made of plastic and metal.

The manager would kick me out, as he only sees the money floating in.:-)

    I have not matches !

Usually I am meeting the Chabad women handing me over Shabbes candles and sometimes a match. This morning, however, I haven't met anyone.

Can you imagine, I am burning something, demonstrating against watching porn and this all with the hel of a Chabad match !!!!

This would definitely elevate everything and may bring Meshiach.

But honestly, I think that this is disgusting. I would love to say something but the guy already looks like a pervert and may attack me, as we are alone here. The manager is next door.

  11. Do nothing. One thing leads to another on the Internet, maybe he was just curious about something and wanted to process it in some way. Life is hard sometimes for single people - even if in his forties he may have been single, especially in today's world. A little compassion and empathy is far more warranted than trying to judge someone. If someone is less connected than you, understand that we can all fall and use that awareness as a reminder to strengthen our OWN selves in service of Hashem. Have we not all "been" there in some way - even if it is only thoughts, looking at someone we see on the street with less than angelic thoughts, or whatever, let alone looking at something which we later feel guilty over. In Elul, let's work on ourSELVES and lead by example. It's a tough world out there.

The best solution I got from someone on Twitter:

I should have reminded the guy of Rosh Chodesh Elul.
A pity that I didn't think about that on time.
