Kotel Prayer in 1896

    Historically speaking, there wasn't always a Mechitzah. Even Yitzchak and Rivka were sill praying together.

    Actually women used to play a much more important role in Jewish history than it is the case today. Just look at Beruriah, Devorah or Rashi's daughters.
    It is said that Rashi's daughters wrote the entire Rashi commentary on Masechet Nedarim !!!

  3. Too bad the rebbes of today are so afraid of losing the power! The more they diminish women, the more they become like the arabs, and something tells me that in the end this will not be good for Jews, or Israel.
